Fragments of Ideas

A whiff of smoke, sizzle, and a bright light
from the lasercutter. The dry sweetness
of the wood shop. By the plasma cutter,
sits a carved steel T-Rex skeleton, just
knee-high; while in the metal working shop
gather shavings and shreds that could carve back.
Nowhere in all the tidy rooms is there
a spot that has not echoed with brainstorms,
been dusted with designs. Sometimes I think
the walls themselves have learned how to wonder.

  1. Sounds like an exciting place to create. I like the idea that a space contains the spirit of previous creations.
